WoW Strategy Guide
Welcome to WoW Addict Zone! This is where WoW Addict share with the rest of world his WoW Strategy Guide. On this website you will learn about World of Warcraft. It’s an awesome, and extremely addicting game you won’t want to stop playing once you get into it.
In this game, you create a character and travel through Azeroth doing a number of activities. You can quest and follow a story line about your character’s race and later about battling the other faction and the Scourge that wants to infect all of Azeroth. It’s so much fun, and the best part is – your character is completely unique, you can create him or her in any of the races and classes available, and even customize their appearance. When I say customize their appearance, that means you even get to select any tribal markings on their face (only certain races), facial hair, and/or earrings.
Races change depending on the faction you choose to play, meaning some races are only available for the Horde faction and others for the Alliance. You can make multiple characters on multiple servers, so there’s not really a limit to your creativity when deciding what character you want to play. If you choose to make a Horde character, you can decide from the following races; Orc, Undead, Troll, Blood Elf, or Tauren. Maybe Horde doesn’t appeal to you, and you would rather play for the Alliance faction, here are your choices for the race of your character; Human, Dwarf, Gnome, Night Elf, and Draenei. Each race comes with one or more ‘racial passives’. A ‘racial passive’ is something helpful about that race that may take away power from another race when being attacked. For example, Humans have the racial passive to detect other players or enemies who are hiding in the shadows, or ’stealthed’ in game speak, faster than others. To balance this, Night Elves are more difficult than any other race to detect while stealthed. Every race balances another, so there isn’t one race that is much more powerful than the others.
After you select the race you think you will enjoy most, you get to choose a class. The classes are numerous; Rogues, Druids, Shamans, Warriors, Paladins, Hunters, Warlocks, Mages, Priests, and Death Knights. There are restrictions for Druids and Shamans though. You must play a Night Elf to be a Druid for the Alliance, and a Draenei to play a Shaman. If you’re playing for the Horde, you must be a Tauren to play the Druid class, and an Orc, Tauren, or Troll to play the Shaman class. Each class has different abilities, and the armor can differ slightly and so can the weapons.
You’ve selected your race and class, and now you’re well on your way to becoming an expert on the game yourself. Before you enter the game you can choose your character’s appearance on the same page, just click the arrows beside ’skin color’, ‘face’, etc to figure out what you want to look like. Then it’s time to decide on a name. If you can’t think of anything, or all your choices are taken, you may click the ‘randomize’ button and World of Warcraft will pick a name for you. You can click this button as many times as you want until you are happy with your name.
World of Warcraft is easy to learn, and there is almost always something new to learn about it. Every so often you must download a patch (it downloads itself, you just click okay when it’s patch time) and this updates the game. Sometimes it fixes any problems there might be, and other times it adds something new and exciting to the game. I’ve played this game for over four years, and experienced most of it. I’ve leveled up quite a number of characters over the years, and I’m sure you will find my advice, instruction, and hints helpful if you’re a new player who wants to learn about professions for your character in World of Warcraft.
Enjoy your game!
